Why do I need to call instead of booking online?

Airline contracts limit what wholesale and consolidator fares we're allowed to publish online. Calling connects you with a live agent who can access and quote those unlisted rates directly, which often works out cheaper than what public search engines show.

Are the prices shown on your website guaranteed?

No — prices on our destination, hotel, and deal pages are for illustrative purposes, generally reflecting the lowest fare found across a rolling 12-month search. They're a helpful starting point, but availability and final pricing are confirmed by an agent when you call.

What does "You Save X% Offline" mean?

It's the approximate difference between the publicly listed online rate and the phone-only wholesale rate our agents can access for that same trip. The exact savings depend on your specific dates and availability at the time you call.

Why do some discounted fares take longer to receive?

Wholesale and consolidator fares sometimes go through an extra ticketing step behind the scenes, so they can occasionally take a bit longer to issue than a standard online booking. Your agent will let you know what to expect for your specific fare.

Do you charge a fee for your service?

We may charge a service fee in addition to the airline or supplier's own fare. If one applies, your agent will always disclose it clearly before you agree to book — there are no surprise charges.

Who will I actually talk to when I call?

Calls are answered by our in-house sales team, or routed to one of our partner travel agencies who compete to find you the best available rate. Either way, you're speaking with a real booking agent — never a bot.

Is calling really free?

Yes. Our numbers are toll-free, and there's no charge just to call and talk with an agent about your options.

I don't want to wait on hold — what are my options?

You can submit a "Request a Free Call Back" form on our site with your name, phone, and email, and we'll call you back — usually within about 60 seconds. You can also message us directly on WhatsApp.

I'm calling from outside the U.S. — will it cost me more?

We display a local toll-free number for a number of countries automatically, so international callers can usually reach us without long-distance charges. If you'd rather not dial at all, request a call back instead and we'll call you.

Are calls recorded?

Changes & Refunds

Can I change or cancel a booking after I've paid?

Usually, yes — call our booking desk and we'll walk you through your options. Whether you get a refund, a travel credit, or need to pay a change fee depends on the fare rules of the specific ticket you purchased, which your agent explains before you book. How long do refunds take?

Once approved by the airline or supplier, refunds are typically credited back within 7–20 business days, though the airline's own processing ultimately controls the timeline.

What's the 24-hour cancellation rule?

For bookings made in the U.S. at least 7 days before departure, U.S. Department of Transportation rules generally allow a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours of booking. We honor this rule where it applies.

What if the airline changes or cancels my flight?

Call us and we'll help you understand your options — rebooking, a refund, or a travel credit — based on that airline's own policy for schedule changes and cancellations.

How do I actually pay for a booking?

Payment is handled directly with your agent over the phone at the time of booking — our website never collects your card information.

Is my payment information secure?

Since payment happens verbally with an agent rather than through a web form, your card details are never transmitted or stored on our website.

No. BargainAirTicket is an independent travel marketplace — not an airline, and not the representative of any airline. Airline names and logos on our site simply indicate that we can help book, change, or manage tickets with that carrier.
